Savage 1861 Navy Revolver with original American Civil War Leather Flap Holster. This Martial Savage 1861 Navy Revolver has a strong military cartouche. These .36 caliber revolvers were made from 1861 to 1862. Many Yankee Soldiers complained about the Savage 1861 Navy Revolver. There is no shortage of excavated Savage Revolvers. Many show up with Southern usage and the leather holster looks Southern made I.M.O. The barrel address is strong and some original finish. Military inspector initials still visible and the original wood grips are really nice. This is one of the nicest examples you will ever see.
