My personal opinion is Mr. Lower bought these after Smith & Wesson sued for copyright violation. J. P. Lower was a businessman, and these revolvers would have been cheap after the fact. This J. P. Lower Retailer Marked Uhlinger Revolver displays great and nicely marked on the barrel.
