Civil War Canister Shot from the Battle of Stones River. This Civil War Canister Shot was excavated in Murfreesboro, Tennessee near McFadden's Ford. It was originally sold by Larry Hicklen of Middle Tennessee Relics. I just picked this artillery piece up on consignment. I have dug a bunch of these canister balls in the same general area.
