Alabama Civil War Canteen just surfaced and brought to me. This Alabama Civil War Canteen has jawbone history of being Southern carried. I believe this to be a Pre-Civil War Tin Drum Canteen. It very well could have been carried by an Alabama Rebel. Billy Yank would have been issued a canteen. This tin canteen has a gorgeous original paint and broken sling.
