Antique Bowie Knives from the early 1800s usually have lots of condition issues from hard service. This Antique Bowie Knife had a killer write up in an auction, where I bought it at .... LOL. The unique blade has a sharpened false edge and I love the width. The blade is secured with two iron rivets. The antler grip has the perfect patina a serious collector will love. This Antique American Primitive Bowie is 15" inches overall with a 10" inch blade. Still period sharp and check out the width. You could "POWER SLAP" a heathen back to hell with this blade. I love this Antique Bowie Knife. It was part of a friend of mine's collection Mr. Robert Vines. He was always very nice to me and loved antique bowie knives.1850
