MISSIONARY POSITION ~  This " ground burst " 10 lb. parrot was fired from a
position along Missionary Ridge.  The digger was able to find all the pieces and
reassemble the shell.  This bad boy aint nothing but cool, when you shake it
you can hear the case shot inside.  Attractive relic, for being blown up!

SOLD
WHISTLING DEATH   ~   Excavated 3.8 inch "BIRD CAGE" James projectile
recovered from Shiloh in the 1970s.  This shell was well known during the Civil
War for the distinctive "whistling" sound it made as it came in.  The shell has
been disarmed, cleaned, coated and is ready for display.

SOLD
REBEL RELIC ART  ~   Wow,  A Confederate 12lb. cannon ball with "old school"
artwork.  This ball came out of a U.C.V. Veterans Hall and is being offered for
the first time ever.  The metal is in great shape and looks to be a early pick up.
Wonderful relic with vintage looks and displays beautiful.  It will be awhile before
we see another relic like this one.

SOLD
WHISTLE OF DEATH  ~   This is one cage even Dale Earnhardt Sr. would not
want to rattle. . . . . . . . . . .   Slick Civil War "JAMES SHELL" with I think part of
the fuse inside the shell.  This is a clean example with 3.8 inch loads of eye
appeal ! !  The shell is said to give away it's approach with a whistling sound.
Sounds like this one ought to be named a "CLINT EASTWOOD" shell.  If your
collection is lacking one this example should wet your whistle.

SOLD
FEED THE YANKEES SOME GRAPES . . . . . . .  ~   Some how I bet those words
may have been shouted.  This piece of Civil War Artillery was excavated near
the battle of Shiloh.  This example was carefully put back together and displays
awesome.  Talk about sour grapes . . . . . . .
